Classic Disney animated movies Peter Pan, The Jungle Book and Dumbo have been given content advisory notices warning viewers that they contain outdated or stereotyped depictions of people of colour.
The advisories, the latest example of Hollywood's reckoning with racism, come in the form of a short graphic on the Disney+ streaming service as some of the older films are selected for viewing.

You better buy physical copies of any old movies you like RIGHT NOW.
In the next few years, there is a 100% chance they will either be completely pulled from distribution or post-edited to remove any "sensitive content." Mass insanity.

I recently got my bootleg copy of “Song of the South”. Need to check it out, make sure it plays.

Geppetto, however, is a greasy wop, & probably involved with organized crime and beats off with olive oil. Which is totally not racist to say. I consulted a white democrat first.

Several years ago in an antique store in Phoebus, VA, I bought the Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby read along book. My wife said "why in the world are you buying that?" I told her then there would come a day when it would not be available. That was almost 20 years ago...

The Jungle Book huh? What’s racist there?

Now I’m the king of the swingers, oh, the jungle VIP
2nd best Disney song behind be prepared (animated version, not the aborted grotesque that is the new version)
My guess is the insinuation that the monkeys are black.

Crazy...I was actually on the it’s a small world ride this weekend and wondering how long before they either do away with it or re-do everything. Sooner as opposed to later it appears.

Jeep, do you think the libs at Disney we’re thinking this? If so, that’s pretty racist.

It will never stop, people are allowing politics to override common sense. Seriously, I do not expect a movie made in 1950 to have the same sensibilities as 2020.

Louie is an Ape with poor linguistic skills compared to others. He sings about wanting to be like others, etc.
In other words, bull crap

Anyone remember those old school cartoons they used to run back in the day...some of were from the 40's and had the buck toothed Jap...or the Tom and Jerry's with the the blackface maid or Uncle Tom.
Those were racist a.f. and hilarious too
