I think disneysantis is just doing this because it makes him look good but he's intentionally losing

Disney outmaneuvered Desantis
The mere fact Disney is in a POLITICAL battle, a battle which it started, is a frank breach of fiduciary responsibility on the part of management. Disney Board members pushing leftist WOKE politics should be held liable.
In general, national corporations should be positioned neutrally from a political perspective. But at least they should not be overtly oppositional to one party or the other simply because it's bad business.
But Disney also has a global agenda.
While pushing "woke" on the west is politically oppositional in places like Florida, it is fully compatible with the Chinese Communist agenda. Undercutting Western mores pleases Chinese leadership immensely. Kowtowing to the Chinese to gain Chinese market access may be the Disney goal. It's one of the few possibilities making any business sense at all.
In that case, it would behoove many in this thread to rethink their oddly pro-Disney celebrations here.

It’s the largest single site employer in the entire state, a HUGE source of revenue and tourism dollars for the state, a big part of secondary employment (hotels, etc.) and region, and you are ok if it shuts down??? That would send central Florida into a huge recession.
