This is what the Trump Loyalists have always been, folks. A bunch of Trump First loser Democrats who would rather frick over the country than support anyone else.

Good on DeSantis for making them saying the quiet part out loud.

They remind me of 1970s union guys. You know, the ones who voted for Carter over Reagan.

What if the made the entrances to Disney all $10 toll roads... every time someone goes in or out ... pay $10. $50 for each Disney bus. For me, I would not mind them shutting down Disney.

It’s the largest single site employer in the entire state, a HUGE source of revenue and tourism dollars for the state, a big part of secondary employment (hotels, etc.) and region, and you are ok if it shuts down??? That would send central Florida into a huge recession.

and the added costs would just be added to the customers. the mouse wins still. and now florida must provide all the services Reedy creek was providing (fire, cops)

was completely an optics move, with no useful outcome
heck disney could "pay their taxes under protest" and lock up revenue for the state, too pending court case outcome

nice planning ron!

What is Trump's position on this? Has he weighed in?

Would you just sit back and let someone steal your car?

Or, did you actually sell your car, regret it, and now you're going hard on the "someone stole it" lie because that's easier than accepting that you're an idiot.

This guy supports Andrew Warren, Gavin Newsom, and Joy Behar because DeSantis might get in the way of another four years of Democrats controlling the White House.

I mean, did anyone really think that the lawyers who are paid to be good at the job weren’t going to beat the lawyers who are paid to just show up to work that day?

Disney fighting with classic home owner association rules

Florida fighting with classic taxation, expropriation, criminal rules for government entity corruption.

I will bet the 401k on Florida

You can kinda do that. Short their stock, good luck!

My bet, Disney is in it for the long haul. Desantis/political beef will come and go. Some politician down the road will secure a new deal for additional Disney investment/expansion/jobs in Florida, everyone will call it a win and move on.

Actually, no it would not have the effect on Florida revenue compared to 50 years ago.

Florida is so large and diverse. Heck, get rid of the property and put up a bunch more margarativilles and Dell webb .

You are either uneducated or don't care to learn the facts. Nothing quoted is true . Disney still pays in the new district

States bending over for corporations that don't share the values of the state is how we got to this point. Development and jobs are great until they attract people who contribute to the cultural rot of everything around them.
