Elon's Twitter barrage was very first-term Trump-like, and his lack of self control during that should be concerning.
Elon's autism/Asperger's plus his use of various drugs makes him very unpredictable. That Epstein tweet should be the writing on the wall for Trump to keep him at arm's length if they can work things out. What sane person does something like that publicy about someone you consider a friend and has had you as a guest, many times, in your homes? If I were Trump, I would trust Elon as far as I could throw him. Dude may be super smart, very rich, but he has some serious issues going on inside his head.

Musk didn’t deliver on Doge.

He then kicked up a storm on the way out.

I don’t know if anyone played anyone. It was a short lived bromance.

Elon was there in Trumps first term, he stormed out in a hissy fit in June 2017 and the two of them did this same bullshite then, the only thing different was the Epstein stuff from Elon this time around. But otherwise this shite is exactly the same as last time

No that was completely different. Elon did not support Trump and only agreed to join that committee because Thiel begged him to and because Tim Apple also agreed to be on it. He criticized Trump regularly and left quickly when we left the Paris climate accord. There was never any endorsement, friendship, or anything resembling a relationship.

I really believe that Elon is sincere about the changes he wants. I think he greatly underestimated the Swamp’s political machine, much like Trump did in his first term.

Seems naive

I think Elon wanted to try to diminish the authority of public institutions that might get in the way of regulating his businesses.

And it seems to have worked. The EPA should be hammering him right now.

Republicans are no different than Democrats.

This is the proper response to basically every thread posted on this board.

It's a grand epiphany and suddenly everything in politics makes perfect sense, as soon as you realize and accept that both "sides" are just two sides of the same trick coin.

It's the Establishment Uniparty. They are fully in control and have entrenched themselves as an Etatist Kleptocracy.

Very odd you talk about a flat earth like it has anything to do with a lying Government that supposedly went to the moon with 60's technology
Odd? Nah. "Flat-earth" is the beliefset one would expect of someone who is a moon landing denier. Aside from the program science, Russia, China, India and others clearly have the imaging ability to verify Apollo landing sites. Effective discrediting of the Apollo landings would deliver a massive PR hit to the US. China which has landed a satellite on an asteroid, retrieved materials, and returned to Earth, could very easily disprove the moon landings as could Russia. Yet, to the contrary, India was the latest country to photograph the 50+yr-old sites on the lunar surface.

My guess is that he’s against the spending and Palantir. I have no idea how to feel about this massive bill and the insane possibilities of Palantir doing straight up evil shite.

If you listen to any podcasts with Elon post election he sounded legit worried about his personal safety, safety of his family and damage to his businesses from the fanatical left. This is planned theater to allow Elon to de-link from Trump for the fanatics to allow him to get back to some sense of normalcy. By being “against” Trump the firebombings should stop and Elon will start to get more favorable media coverage.

Have not been many of these. He’s been right on just about everything.

This is a TDS way of pretending to pose a legit question while taking a shot at OMB.

Most of the people he hires for key positions are worthless. I think he's afraid of competency and will always but heads with intelligent people.
