I wish a group of men that were very good at their sport, but not good enough for pro or college teams, would get together and break every women's record possible. Make it their goal to not have any real woman hold any record. Swimming, tennis, softball, track events, everything.

If the Court rules that tras is not a protected class - and I think they will - then it seems like that will make it harder for blue states to continue to allow trans women to play in womens sports. It will become easy for a woman (a protected class) to sue a sports body/school district/state for discriminating against them by allowing trans women (not protected) to play against them.
That is why it seems to me the people fighting these two laws are arguing that some trans should not qualify to play in womens sports - that it should be a specific determination each time. Apparently, that was the status quo in Idaho before the law was passed (not sure about West Virginia.
Regardless, I find it hard to believe that this Court will find that trans are a protected class and that legislation targeting them should be reviewed with heightened scrutiny.

Like another poster said Red states and blue states will come up with differing definitions and little Johnny/Joanie will be prohibited from competing against women in a Red state and the court will decide the true definition. Just pray we still have a conservative court when this is decided.

Trans Athletes have no place in men’s or women’s sports. Give them their own trans division. Allegedly, there are more than enough for that.

And in blue states, everybody would be good to go. The specific determination each time is nothing more than saying that somebody at the state level will gladly make that determination case by case and they will always rule in favor of it.

If trans women were really women they wouldn't need the prefix "trans". They would just be *women*. The simple fact that they are "trans women" indicates that are different than/not the same as "women"
