Crazy Loomer cannot say anything to make Chief Justice Roberts not white knight for a Judge or resign.
Will this now cause Roberts to recuse because of his comment? It is ridiculous.
This has gone into exactly where they wanted. Chaos to keep Trump from governing.

When Roberts responds to Trump on a technical issue such as impeachment he should respond to the appropriate branch of government.
He's stepping outside of his role here.

The same way it's not Trumps job to tell the judiciary branch what to do. Every case that doesnt rule in his favor he goes to social media and whines like a spoiled child, calling judges every name under the sun. If youre going to check Roberts here, keep that same energy for Trump

I think that is intentional of Roberts and he is playing politics here.
I wonder if Trump could have a reason to ask Roberts recuse himself from this ruling if it gets to SCOTUS. Though with Comey, etc I'm sure they'll carry his water in the case.

Your are wrong. But you don't really care that you are wrong

quote:sigh. He's not. Trump is imploring the Legislative branch to impeach the judges. The executive has regularly worked with the legislative branch to accomplish things that both branches agree on. Trump can't impeach a judge. He's not saying he wants god powers to impeach a judge.

Listen to every word of this. After I did it left me sad reading Chief Justice Roberts viewpoint.
They are taking great delight in it pointing out it will be moving through the courts. Failing to say it should have never been a case Boasberg took.

"For more than two centuries" there has never been a full frontal assault on the executive branch by the judicial branch like there is today.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts seems to not believe that the three branches of our government are co-equal.
Are low level executive branch authorities "checking" the SCOTUS? No - the Judicial branch is unchecked in their flagrant assault on the authority of the executive.

Frick that noise
Some piece of shite activist judge tried to turn around a plane full of illegal violent gang members and bring them BACK to the United States. Nobody like that should be making any decisions of note anywhere.

Exactly. The judicial overstepped its authority, simple as that. Their solution of taking it to an appellate court is judicial overstepping.
Judges are nothing more than lawyers with a lot of peer friendships, morals often be damned. They will continue to legislate from the bench using asinine interpretations of our laws and our constitution. The legislative, also comprised mostly of lawyers, ensures the status quo will not change.
If you have to wonder which direction our country is headed, ask yourself this: How many lawyers do you know with truly conservative/libertarian values?

Uh Roberts is full of shite. Of course you can impeach federal judges for their decisions. Decisions are why they are impeached. Oh so the country is supposed to be beholden to a rouge Federal Judge and we have to wait for the appeals process every time to overturn it? GTFO
Guess who also can be impeached? Supreme Court Justices. That means you Roberts.
Hey Supreme Court how about you police your own and come down hard on Federal judges that think they are God and are multiple times out of the box? I think the Supreme Court is being malfeasance in their duties to keep control of the lower courts.

For more than two centuries, it has been established that leaking Supreme Court rulings to facilitate an intimidation campaign to reverse the decision is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision

But Trump can do that? He can tell the legislative and judicial what to do? You guys are a bunch of fricking hypocrites. It is truly hilarious.

Roberts completely reversed his justification for his shitty obamacare ruling with this today.
