Such a hypocritical stance. The Vatican has a huge tall wall around it. Don’t think the Swedish guards won’t kick your arse out if you try to get in illegally. fricking hypocrite.

I really wish I hadn’t read the letter before Mass!!! Thanks, Pope, for giving me sinful thoughts just prior to receiving Holy Communion!!

You had sinful thoughts prior to reading the letter. Just saying.

I’m in San Antonio. I honestly never read our bulletin, but a few weeks ago our archbishop led our Mass and was preaching about immigration. Never thought I’d need to roll my eyes in church, but I did.

Does your church have a diverse congregation? Mine is an absolute mixture of cultures from south of the border and around the world.
No, I did not see the letter.

The Pope sure is verbose for a man on his way to glory.

Why would anyone continue to give money to an organization who is actively working to undermine your country's security and sovereignty?

I'll find out soon but I highly doubt it'll make it to our parish. Thankful for the Bishop we have. They are making him retire due to age. I pray we have another like him.

Didn’t hear a word about this at mass today.

This pope (lower case on purpose) has done plenty to be excommunicated as he is in violation of Catholic teaching more times than he follows them.

I did not see it in todays weekly bulletin.

Not very diverse ethnically (a little), but it’s located on a Catholic university so there are plenty of liberal minded people as well as conservative, if that counts for diversity.

“Catholic” Charities is losing $600 million a quarter since Trump cut them off.

This is my monthly reminder to people on this board that "Catholic charities" is NOT affiliated with the Catholic Church in any way.

Carry on.

Has the pope given up? The end of the world is coming so let other cultures overtake you? These migrants are being praised for being radically different.
