Ah. Agreed on the fact that he fricked up. There's a lot to like and a lot to dislike about his first term. It's too bad his groupies can't look at him objectively. It's un-American to blindly worship a politician they way they do. It's exactly what George Washington was trying to avoid.
I disagree l, however that it was worse than any other president in your lifetime. He was sandwiched between the two worst presidents in at least 60 years, but probably going all the way back to Woodrow Wilson.

I'm with you here. I have been voting Libertarian for the last 20 years or so as I refuse to be strong-armed into the 2 party system because "this election is too important". Each time I hear that, I'm supposed to vote for an R that is going to blow up the deficit/debt and expand the federal government, but just a little slower than the Democrats.
I'll vote R when I think they nominate a guy that will take a hatchet to Washington. Trump, while better than I thought he'd be, doesn't have the will or intellect to actually do that job. It's Libertarian again for me this cycle. At least my anti-government opinion gets tallied. If enough people voted Libertarian, mainstream politicicians would start leaning that way to get those votes, and if we held them accountable, we might actually start backing out of this dystopian nightmare.
It won't happen though, because just like the last 10 elections, "this next election is too important". And the 2-party march to socialist hell doesn't skip a beat.
