BTW, your tendency to over-edit is a "tell"....work on it.

How so? Why worry about the enthusiasm of people who will only vote for Biden in the GE?
Those who won't vote for Trump won't allow themselves to be brought on board anyway. Better they feel unenthusiastic and sit at home than to turn out in numbers for Biden/Newsom.
Exactly. I'm not sure the general public will have the same level of enthusiasm to vote against trump like they did in 2020. Most just seem apathetic to politics in general now.

I’ll ask a question I’ve asked before of those who consider themselves among this “appalled band of conservatives”:
In all the years since Ronald Reagan bid farewell, help me better understand what lasting conservative victories, values and achievements have been earned on behalf of America and American citizens?
Approximately 35 years is a long sample size so surely there’s (at the very least) a couple of examples I can be reminded of.
Granted, Trump is not a dyed in the wool conservative. He’s a populist with some conservative aspects and some liberal ones.
But what exactly have conservatives done? It’s not like they haven’t had chance after chance in these recent decades.
I think it’s a very fair question.

Could it have something to do with the fact that the Democrats have run the country into the fking ground and the specter of another Trump Presidency isn't really scary in the least, provide of course you aren't an insane, Liberal cat lady?

Until virtue points can be redeemed in some sort of fashion that helps offset inflation, more and more moderates are going to abandon disastrous progressive policies.

I am unalterably opposed to Trump. I will never support him as the lesser of evils. The kind of evil Donald Trump put on us in 2020 far surpasses any evil I’ve seen from any president in my lifetime. Even worse than bush and the patriot act which I never thought was possible
Evil? You have a very shallow definition of evil, also a very selective application. The lengths to which these Marxist presently in power have gone trying to "get Trump" are evil. The way they have weaponized the federal government against all who oppose them, making a mockery of our justice system is evil. They are destroying this country.

Its no longer their party and people simply won’t go back to the status quo.

I think they may refer to those that will hold their nose and vote for him as never trump too.
Posted on 1/23/24 at 1:19 pm to WPBTiger
Good. Maybe they'll seriously consider leaving the country.

I don't believe moderates are going to make a big swing to trump, I think they will just stay home.

Please post more. With each "submit" from you, you expose how fking stupid you are.
If it was a Democratic President, you would’ve lost your mind. (And should have.)
If a Democratic President allowed churches to be shut down. For trillions of dollars in Federal spending to go to the usual suspects. For schools to be shut down. For businesses to be shut down. For people to have their liberties impinged upon because they wouldn’t wear a mask (that did nothing against the virus). You can continue that list a bit.
There’s no getting around his abysmal performance in stemming the tide of FedGov destroying the fabric of our lives.

Naw man…there is a video circulating where Trump was blaming Nikki…clearly he meant Pelosi but with his age associated mental decline, he kept saying Nikki’s name

I think there’s some merit to the idea. Especially given how the Uber Wealthy seem bent on using their fortunes to destroy our country.
And to be clear, the wealthy are already taxed very progressively here. So it wouldn’t be inventing the wheel.
