Trump's rhetoric may be great. But his performance has been less than stellar. I know many don't want to hear that. But if you're not questioning Trump's past performance and future capabilities to persuade people to align to his rhetoric... you're being obtuse or in a cult.
Low number of illegal invaders
Thriving economy
Cheap gas
Reduced regulations
Pulled out of Paris Accords
No new wars
NATO countries spending more on defense
That's just off the top of my head. It seems like you only remember what you want to remember. That's a common affliction when Trump is involved.

Oct 21, 2021 — Ron DeSantis calls for lawmakers to end COVID vaccine mandates in Florida. So for HOW LONG did he "KOWTOW" to them again? Now wait.... Did DeSantis allow 6 month olds to get the vaccine after pressure? Is that not KOWTOWING to the covidians? I'm just saying...
Executive Order signed April 2, 2021 prohibiting Covid-19 vaccine passports (mandates) in Florida

Now. Seeing as how by the end of March 2021 several states hadn’t even opened vaccine eligibility to all adults yet, I’d say he was pretty ahead of the game on this.
In regards to the 6 month old thing- he said the state of Florida wouldn’t force or facilitate the giving the jab to kids 6 months-5 years old and wouldn’t be ordering any vaccines for that purpose. From my understanding he said if a parent of a child that age felt it was the kid’s best interest to get the shot then they’d have to find a pediatrician, hospital, pharmacy or something to procure the shot and give it to them. Sounds like small government to me

The argument is that Trump KOWTOWED by:
1- Shutting down the nation. After just a little bit of showing the constitution and a state that never shut down and SHOWING TRUMP'S OWN WORDS, That "KOWTOW" is dead. Trump lacked the authority.
2- By giving in to the covidians and that's why we need RON because he did not. In this one article alone, it shows he most certainly did. You can not blame one without placing the same blame on the other.
DeSantis either allowed mandates prior to or he did not. You can not end mandates if there were never mandates in your state.
There are more examples, but the point is you can not blame one and not the other for the same things.

So in other words, the same as Trump.
Thank you.

I never said Trump kowtowed I was just referring to your post that said DeSantis waiting till October of 2021 was kowtowing to the Covid crowd by asking the Florida legislature to pass a bill making it illegal. I simply responded that DeSantis had long before that issued an executive forbidding vax mandates.
This again was before several states had even opened up vaccinations for all adults so the only talks of vaccine mandates were coming from private industry and local/state governments. DeSantis was getting ahead of the game with the rumblings of talk about them.

Remember the vaccine was not available until Trump was out of office.
That is flat out not true. I know doctors and nurses who took the vaccine November/December 2020.
Also, what about the time after Biden took office that Trump told the crowd on a live O’Reilly interview that his office developed the vaccine?

Before the booing, Trump on Sunday told the audience that they should “take credit” for the success of the vaccines developed while he was in office.
“Look, we did something that was historic. We saved tens of millions of lives worldwide. We together, all of us — not me, we — we got a vaccine done, three vaccines done, and tremendous therapeutics” Trump said. “This was going to ravage the country far beyond what it is right now. Take credit for it. Take credit for it.... Don’t let them take it away. Don’t take it away from ourselves.”

Trump was between a rock and a hard place.
Covid was real. People were dying. He was advised that millions were in jeopardy.
He was in a race for POTUS. There was no passing the buck, it was his call.
I respect what Trump did under the circumstances. Hindsight says he made some mistakes, but I do not fault him for that.

If you think derangement syndromes are interesting, definitely give Trump Derangement Syndrome a gander. It’s breathtaking in its takeover of all three aspects of mind, body and soul.
