Polished? Yes
Smarter? not really, but he's not dumber either. both are incredibly intelligent
better candidate? meh, maybe, but not by a lot. his ability to sell his positions is better than Trump, but Trump now has a proven track record of actually making America great. That goes a long way.

I just watched it. He announced all of the common sense election laws reforms in Fla.
A felony to harvest ballots, VOTER ID and so on.
He is fantastic. He is blunt, He is transparent. Election laws enforced is VERY DIFFICULT to do nationally.
If he were to run in 24 for President nothing would be fixed, no justice done regarding the political dictatorship in DC within 17 agencies. Because THEY WOULDN'T LET HIM. If he did MAGA policies or exposed the Gangof8's powers over the President that Obama installed for 8 years. He would be ran out faster than Trump.
Unless Durham does his job-and the federal marshals bust in and stop the extreme abuses and drunk with power swamp...
Putting in someone to placate it will do nothing.

I'm down for either one. I will say this, the GOP at least has strong candidates that can kick arse on behalf of Americans.

So, not announcing that he's running. 
Though I'd bet this was a feeler for it. Declare a 'major announcement' and then watch how people react to gauge enthusiasm and comparisons to Trump.

There is a helluva difference between calling the shots in State government and being in DC. Trump supporters recognize Ron’s strong and principled action, but also realize they’ll shut him down in DC. And we lose Trump in the process. Make no mistake, the Left fears Trump far more than DeSantis. Trump won by a landslide and will again. And he has the goods on them. If they don’t take him out. And Ron can continue the good work.

Trump/ Desantis is the keystone for 2024. 4 years of Trump then allow Desantis to fundamentally change which has been fundamentally changed for another 8 years.

Agree. You have to be able to sell conservatism to the American people....constantly. Everyday. This was Reagan's strength. DeSantis has that strength also. Listening to DeSantis go blow for blow with the media during the COVID lockdown was a thing of beauty.

All those agencies are still there just as bad as ever. Yet somehow people think the solution is putting the same guy back in the WH.
