If I thought Trump spent the last 2+ years making connections with subject matter experts who were ready and willing to go to work and defy institutions that manipulate and lie to us while exhibiting competence and experience in their field, that'd be one thing

But we all know that hasn't happened so I have no idea who or how he would staff his next administration that wouldn't be a complete fiasco

DeSantis will be more effective.

Maybe. But we need Trump to get this clean up started. He has the money and the balls to counter each and every attack they have coming for him. Big Ron does not.

We need Trump to win in 2024. And to set things up for DeSantis in 2028.

It is going to take YEARS to clean up the mess in D.C. We need Trump first and then DeSantis.

While Trump is making moves in DC DeSantis is making Florida awesome and keeping that state and its beautiful electors RED.

We have to think long game with cleaning up this shite.

Trump/ Desantis is the keystone for 2024.

Unless one or the other leaves Florida this can't happen. 12th Amendment prohibits both from being residents of the same state. That's why Cheney had to "relocate" to Wyoming in 2000; he and Bush were both Texas residents.

Trump’s second term will be nearly identical to his first. Multiple impeachments, constant chaos and leaking, zero game changing legislative wins, and terrible hires that do nothing to stop the DC bureaucratic creep. I’ve seen no evidence he’s learned anything from the first attempt.

Even if Trump wins, I just don't see how he can effectively govern or who would want to join his administration?

You’re still a simp for your outward support of Desantis especially considering the raid, but you’re spot on with this.

It’s easy for Trump to fight everyone all the time but his candidates for cabinet etc would be skewered. Children stalked, etc.

The left are deranged people.

Yeah but Ron is making FL great and that's a better resume than DJT had when he rolled into DC

It's Trump's arena, period. All of you guys who are still butthurt by mean Tweets need to understand one thing, 2024 is Trump's if he so chooses.

You can continue to polish Desantis' knob all you like, but 2024 is not his call.

And I would all but guarantee he and Trump have already talked and still continue to talk.

The difference between you limp dicks and Trump supporters is we will push the Republican ticket REGARDLESS of who it is. Because the choice will be 1000 times better than any kid diddler Democrat.

There are thousands of posts here that say exactly the opposite.

Hyperbole I'm sure. I would guarantee the majority of Trump supporters would support Desantis. Because if they prevent Trump from running, or he doesn't, I 1000% believe he would endorse nobody but Desantis.

No, it's not.

And it's not just Trump vs DeSantis.

Thousands of posts saying they won't vote for a rino/they'd rather the dem win.

Total lack in understanding of basic civics.

I’m sure if you inquired amongst people off this board, those who would even have anything to say on it that is, but off this board I’m sure you’d find that the majority would be happy to support either, but sure have their preference 1 & 2. This particular place can be quite hyperbolic, as you mentioned.

agree on this.. no matter how polarizing he is, this is what is actually best, long term...

Trump going scorched earth and turning it around and having DeSantis come in and put the final touches on the culture war will have a more lasting effect than just 8 years of DeSantis

I still think that they need to do everything possible to run together... Trump needs to check his ego and have DeSantis as a HIGHLY visible VP for that term. like a visible/posiitive "on the job training" where in 4 years no one would be able to beat DeSantis..
