And it showed itself in the primaries. A Trump endorsement damn near guaranteed a victory. Fast forward to the general and the disconnect from reality showed. I want conservatism to come back but that probably isn’t going to happen without the Dems going crazy and having a popular leader with charisma that can eloquently speak to conservative values. DeSantis could (not very charismatic) be that guy but ‘28 is going to be stacked against the Republican nominee.

I've spoken the truth. The GOP cannot win without Trump voters. The peak "anti-Trump" candidates in the GOP are Romney and McCain types. You honestly believe those types of candidates can win? They certainly haven't shown an ability to do that.
