I can’t answer that.

That being said, given that he is under constant attack by the Dems and RINOs, he may view it as his only option to fight back.

Even his most ardent critic, unless they are being incredibly disingenuous, would have to admit that the swamp is hell bent on destroying him.

The question that you should be asking yourself is...why are they going to such extremes to neutralize him?

His mega-donors won't let this happen.

What policies? I’ve been in favor of the things he has implemented in Florida. He is at war with the groomers, which I believe to be our most important issue. He will surely continue to decouple from China; Trump won that debate, and that is now bipartisan policy. He is in favor of keeping taxes low.

What policies do you support that you think he does not?

After how the disrespect for marriage act got passed do you think he will have as easy of a run as Prez as he has had with the most Right state legislature in the nation?

That's the issue people see with people thinking DC-Desantis is going to be the same as FL-Desantis.

There are no safe spaces from the Imperial Federal Gov narrative.

None.

Might as well stick with Trump.

tan man bad

DeSantis is out here actually doing conservative things to protect conservative people and the highly suspect types who've never done a single thing to promote conservatism have the knives out

First they pushed hard for us to lose the Senate
Now they're trying to destroy the future of the movement who probably isn't even challenging the leader they've sworn fealty to

pretty bleak

There’s probably no way he appoints a shithead like Milley. Who would do such a thing?

Exactly. Pissed off Trump going scorched earth on DC for 4 yrs should be any legit Conservatives dream right now. Only way the never Trumpers will get the Desantis they want in '28. Otherwise they will be highly disappointed with how things will turn out and whining about how he's not doing things the way he did in FL.

No one that complains about how swampy DC is should be anti-Trump right now. He is the best/only shot we have at having any kind of chance at legitimately changing things. May be the only foreseeable chance.

This movement is basically a mirrored image of progressivism, it uses the same rudimentary tactics.

National office requires compromise. You cannot maintain power without it.

That's what the Trump contingent fails to understand.

In a few years, if DeSantis wins and actually implements reactionary policies (instead of trump’s total lack of planning and calculation) you’ll be rabidly pro DeSantis.

Because the back and forth is how they keep the illusion intact for the sheeple.

Or maybe the Trump contingent understands how it works, and is tired of "comprise" going one way and want someone willing/able to get down and dirty and fight to turn the direction.
