I thought he was making some good strides, this looks really pathetic.

Thats interesting. Where are they proposing to make up the revenue from since Florida doesn't have state income taxes either?

DeSantis about to lose to Trump twice. Gonna be hard for him, again.

One of the big campaign talking points was how incredibly large their budget surplus is. Sounds like they have more than enough wiggle room.
It’s a massive tourism state. There are plenty of taxes that come in that way.

The rainy day fund was pretty big the last time I checked.

Here is the timestamped video of DeSantis propping up Casey DeSantis to run.

Gotcha. Knew that Florida rakes in a ton of money from tourism. Just didn't know whether it was enough to completely make up for not having both zero income tax or property tax for a state with that big of a population.

Byron Donald's is needed in Congress. Matt Gaetz would be my choice

Not going to watch because shes not hot enough for me to waste my valuable time on.
Just the thought of pushing my wife into the spotlight for my job in politics is about as slimy as it comes.
I was coming around to Ron until this. Now its full stop. Trump saw what I didnt see about him.

He's pulling in massive tv/streaming ratings. I doubt he wants to give that up

What is he doing ? This guy’s stock is plummeting. It’s sad to because he’s such a great governor for Florida.

Greed.
Its the same with everyone else.
These people are all owned. I dislike owned people, they are boot lickers.

Maybe he thinks Byron would be a terrible choice

So is there really no other option than Casey or Donald's?
I've liked RD, but I've mentioned in other threads how it's pretty disappointing that he hasn't been mentoring someone to take the baton. Though it now seems like it's been his wife the whole time. Not a good look imo. FLs progress doesn't seem to be on firm ground.

He bashes Byron. Then goes on to say he was asked about Casey running on Fox. As if they didn't push the trial balloon out. The part I linked above says Rush endorsed Casey
He pops on Fox for attention. The DOGE push is silly in a well ran Florida, no? Then he goes on to end taxes or something and offer a chicken in every pot. Just to keep his job via his wife.

Offering another avenue besides the two progressive choices (MAGA and Democrats)

Not anyone else with name recognition and lots of money backing then unfortunately.

No doubt it was a mistake on his part not grooming a suitable successor. There are way too many RINOs in the party that are ready to cash in come 2027
