Can’t expect the US government to do anything but facilitate the influx.

I think its more about them coming in on boats and so on. Florida gets a decent amount of that from Haiti, DR and Cuba.

There are small federal bases in the Keys.
Nothing to accommodate large numbers of migrants.
Lots of liberals in key west but they don't want murdered or raped. It's a small town.

Not sure its going to be anywhere close to that level given the ocean separating Haiti from Florida, but there could be some of that.
