@FLVoiceNews
JUST IN: Ron DeSantis responds to Donald Trump saying he'd only need six months to turn the country around, rather than one or two 4-year terms

"Why didn't he do it his first four years?"

The country is the word used, not the economy.

We were much Woker by the end of his Presidency, and he spend more in 4 years than any President in history.

He passed no signature legislation to have a long term effect on this country.

Virtually everything he did was undid day 1 by Biden.

This is an ignorant comment...1st term is WAY different than 2nd term.

Desantis needs to realize that quick as he is making promises he won't be able to keep. FL Legislature is WAY different than what he will face in DC.

Trump knows what to do, and won't need to get his feet wet and not care about reelection.

This nation is ready for DC destruction, and Trump is the only one that is set-up for doing that.

Because promising to "turn the country around" in six months or ending Russia/Ukraine war in an afternoon isn't the definition of making promises you can't keep.

People are now having to trust someone that is changing his tune about his mentor?

I'm not sure having already been unceremoniously fricked in the the arse by the establishment is the best experience/credential for the person we expect to bring the establishment down.

Will doing away with the IRS as we know it happen in that timeframe as well? If the harsh Trump critics would intend on holding Desantis to the same standard as they have Trump, then there are no passes to be given and no excuses accepted, under any circumstances. His words are to be interpreted in the most literal sense and no allowances for “being caught up in the moment” or “typical campaign rhetoric” or “he said this but he meant that”……..no liberties afforded. If he doesn’t do what he said here and doesn’t do away with the IRS as we know it - inexcusable failure.

Trump believes he can, so I'm rolling with it. And I have more faith he can do it if he puts his mind to it, then DeSantis can do much when he'll have to get his feet wet for a few years.

Trump will roll into the WH, and Desantis will have to deal with the moving of his young family. That doesn't give me much confidence that he will be able to get stuff done quickly. Trump on the other hand...dude is ready to rock'n roll.

Trump actually knows and has dealt with both Zelensky and Putin, and both will know they will need to get stuff figured out. Why Putin didn't do jack when Trump was Prez. DeSantis will not have that connection with either, and will need to depend on his SoS to negotiate something that Trump can pick up the phone and handle.
