It’s not much of a mystery. I’m sure you observed what all they did to Trump. But this will be a good bit worse because the process of trial and error and honing of skills has already happened.
Hell the left has even been successful in wearing down a surprising number of former Trump voters/supporters who were weak and couldn’t take the constant vitriol towards them, and gave in to pressure to turn against him and just so happened they had an exciting new guy to rally behind……and get their minds off awkwardly walking away from Trump for all kinds of weak excuses.
So I don’t see any reason they wouldn’t employ the same tactics against Desantis, including a similar strikingly successful gaslighting scheme to eventually chase those same folks away from Desantis and on to the next newest and hottest person going, and so on and so on.

Ben Shapiro revealed on the Daily Wire Backstage show fairly recently that he was told by multiple people close to DeSantis in FL that he is running for President in 2024, regardless of who else is running, unless he loses his Governor's race.
