I’ll take a Rubio President Vance VP ticket and Desantis as Secretary of State.

I’m just not certain Vance is ready for a big position yet.

This country would be far better off if Trump had taken Big Rons approach during Covid. Shame

He did. Ron left closing of beaches etc up to the local authorities. Trump left shutdowns to the states.

DeSantis is arguably the most effective politician in a chief executive role in the last fifty years.

He comes across as possibly on the spectrum, so a bit socially awkward and I think that has been his only holdback (outside of liberal media bias) with public perception.

On paper and in truth, Ron Desantis is a well-oiled machine of competent governance. What he has done in Florida is unlike anything I've seen a State-level politician do in my lifetime.

I'd be happy with Ron or JD but I agree - there needs to be a way to keep them both in play.

Just goes to show what can get accomplished when your own party in the legislative branch works with you and not against you.

RD running against TRUMP was a huge mistake, in many ways.....and everybody knows, including Ron.

The odds are that was his only shot to run for President. He was just very unlucky in terms of timing.

He should run for Prez with Tulsi. It would be a winning ticket

Then I don't know.

He's not orange enough? He wasn't a reality t.v. star first?

If that's not it you'll have to tell me.

That would be an interesting ticket. I love Ron, but I don't know if he has the personality to win. Lately, he's been kind of an alpha assassin, but he was awkward on the campaign trail. Tulsi would bring some warmth to offset his autism or whatever.

Also, as you have pointed out, he might not be the best choice if Israel is splitting the base.

Yeah he wilted in the spotlight. He looked stressed out and uncomfortable on the trail. I disagree with him on some things but DeSantis at least has an air of operational efficiency. Off the cuff isn’t his strong suit but governance is a strength and the GOP and the country could do much worse.
