I really wish somehow DeSantis and Vance could somehow be on the same ticket. I don't think RD wants to be a VP.

DeSantis is arguably the most effective politician in a chief executive role in the last fifty years.

VP is such a waste position. It just doesn’t have huge responsibilities. Give him homeland security, department of defense, Secretary of State. Or just have him sit on the sideline not tied to any administration growing his brand to be his own when he’s ready to try again.

I'm still a Trump fan but the next logical step was always a more polished and well spoken Donald Trump. Someone who shares Trump's views but is less controversial and more articulate. Both Vance and DeSantis would fit this role. Trump was the bull in the china shop we needed at the time but eventually the movement needs a cleaner leader.

DeSantis as VP would be incredible.

Him and Susie Wiles cleaned Florida up and turned it red. Guy has been a fantastic governor.

Oh, the horror of trying to run for president.

Those lifts got your panties in a wad.

DeSantis is much further right than Trump. We would be so much better off right now if it was DeSantis in office and not Trump.

I would support this and I agree DeSantis is too good to leave on the sidelines. Can we leave his fan boys, though?

The base cares far more about the quality of insults fired at the other "team" than they do policy victories.

And he doesn't measure up in the insult/tweet department, so...

We like our politicians to wear orange makeup applied with a trowel and dye their hair. That's what real men do.

He needs more time. He came in third in the primaries. He wouldn’t have won like Trump did. But next go around I think he has a shot.

Vance is pretty good verbally. I don't know how he is on X, but he's pretty good face to face.
