I think this is a good way to handle the situation.

That's pretty much a one-way street so far, isn't it?

Good.

fortunate for desantis.
he gets a grievance.

his staff should refuse to let her interview him on air for the correction.
she would skewer him deep.
he just needs to pretend shes the problem and ignore understanding her pov.
just act aggrieved.

I'm not sure if I have seen DeSantis going after Trump unless it was in response to Trump being an idiot toward him.

Meanwhile, Trump gives access to Haberman, Woodward, and Axios, then wonders what happened

I’m reminded of a story Kayleigh McEnany told once. She said that when she became White House press secretary she would quickly brief Trump before his press conferences. She told him things like “avoid this reporter, don’t call on him, he’s looking for a fight today.” She said after the second time of doing so, she learned not to say such things to Trump because on both occasions the reporter she warned him about was the very first one that he called on for questions.

lol I love him for this but I can also see how never avoiding a fight can be unproductive.

Trump is like Sonny Corleone.

Maybe DeSantis is more like Michael.

It fills me with glee, and I thank President Trump for his service. I think Desantus/desantis (however you spell his name) will be the nominee for the Republican Party-his ideology and disdain for certain people aligns with their party values. And trump will not go quietly, desantis is too arrogant to kiss the ring, and the president is too prideful to bow out. President Trump runs as an independent, the radical right vote is split, and democrats win.

This is good news. But If he refuses to talk to every news media outlet that lies about him he will be waiting a long time talking to no media. As Chris Christie said, it is a whole different ballgame than being Governor.

More handouts, more whining about guns and an open border.

A utopia for losers.

I hate it when people (here, Mitchell) pull absolute horseshite out of their asses, then disappear when challenged to prove their assertions.

Love the way this dude and Trump both handle bidness. Completely different styles but get the same results

The way Trump "handles business" is petulant and undignified.

That's a one way street. Everytime Baby Huey throws a tantrum and flings shite, Desantis ignores it.

During an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, which aired on ‘MSNBC Reports’ last week, Mitchell claimed DeSantis “says that slavery and the aftermath of slavery should not be taught to Florida schoolchildren” and accused him of being ignorant of “Black history and the Black experience.”

Americans are fine with teaching American history and the period of slavery in the US is part of American history. What most Americans are not ok with is the rewriting of history by the cultural Marxists who claim the US was founded on slavery….Andrea!

The sad part is, 100% of Democrats believe that's what Republicans are talking about when we denounce CRT.

Absolutely. It's part of the "Liberal False Equivalency Machine". The rule is, if you see a republican say something you don't like, you can equate it to slavery, fascism, etc...

Example: "Ron desantis has introduced a bill to cut funding for #2 pencil in schools -->> now it reads "Racist Ron Desantis banning writing in schools becasue a pencil was once used to write a dirty sentence, FFF all republicans they are trying to stop people from writing books"

SimpDVTiger or one of his alters will be along to tell us how this means that DeSantis is terrified of Andrea Mitchell.

Someone here posted an ad of his wife narrating with desantis and his kid attempting to make fun of trump. Was that a real ad? I honestly don’t know.
