It's hilarious, and just reeks of never having actually met a minority before in their life.

Not to mention it illustrates their extremely low opinion of minorities

So it might beg the question. If you're an adult without a photo ID exactly what the frick are you doing?

Living in a tent under the I10 overpass on St. Charles, too hopped up on drugs or mentally gone to do anything but eat, shite, piss, and try to get bitten by my dog.

Shouldnt...you can keep it in your lockbox at home. If you wanna vote though, you have to be able to prove who you are

People shouldn't need to walk around with an ID. People do need to recognize that there are situations where they must be able to prove their identity. And, they need to recognized that if they are put in a situation where they must identify themselves but do not have an ID, that there may be consequences.

Why does ID have anything to do with minorities??

I don’t want anyone who can’t prove who they are to vote. Regardless of color creed or station in life.

There is no reason for not being able to prove your identity. And if you refuse to do so you should not be allowed to drive a car, fly on an airplane, sign up for welfare, or vote.

Do what you want with your anonymity but you don’t get to vote.

What stops this anonymous voter from voting a dozen times?? His honor???

And why would that require an ID? My name and address or the last 4 of a social should be sufficient

And how, precisely, does that prove who you are?

because the idea that "your name and the last 4 digits of your social security number" will do when so much fraud abounds is ludicrous on the face of it

I don't know why I bother

Are you arguing that requiring IDs will make us more free? Or stop us from being disenfranchised so easily?

If it benefits the people its worth discussing

Why would anyone have to undergo a background check?

If an illegal alien bought your ID for the purpose of getting a job but then he went to the polling station bright and early on election day and voted, then you show up around lunch time to vote and the nice lady sitting at the table says "I'm sorry BMY, you already voted today", would that make you upset?

Would that make you disenfranchised?

This shite happens all the time.

Of course that is true, I'll make that argument

A) The most free countries in the world are the safest countries in the world. This is CONFIRMED . The less secure a country is the less free its citizens are.

Common sense

B) If there are say 125K valid voters in any one district and lets say 1,000 people who voted who weren't qualified to vote but did anyway. Those other 125K people just saw their vote become worth less than in districts where no illegal voting happened. Thus, they were disenfranchised.

This is, yet another, example of zero principles on the left. Are you more safe because we limit some peoples ability to buy firearms, which means making them LESS free? Of course you fricking are because in all instances, more safety for the masses means more freedom for the masses

Most of the folks they claim who will be disenfranchised by said ID have to present said ID when they get their government dole handouts.

Better than that. We made plans to bring along on a vacation to Canada the elderly lady who helps take care of my son. She's a black lady in her 70s born in rural St. Martin Parish. She has no birth certificate. The state has no birth certificate. There never was a birth certificate. But we needed a U.S. Passport for her to fly with us to Canada. You wouldn't believe what we had to go through to get it done. But we did it with old baptism records, primary school records, affidavits, etc. She's a 100% U.S. citizen, born and raised here, but never had any official record of having been born.
