"Registered Democrats have returned 1.4 million ballots, more than twice the 653,000 ballots registered Republicans have returned so far, according to Michael McDonald, a political scientist at the University of Florida who analyzes early voting."

State by state breakdown?
Posted on 10/9/20 at 8:47 am to StopRobot
"About two-thirds of voters who have already voted — 3.7 million Americans — are either unaffiliated with either party or live in states that do not register voters by party. Demographic modeling by one prominent Democratic firm, TargetSmart, estimates that almost 3 million of all votes cast have come from Democratic voters, compared to about 2.1 million from Republicans."
So it's not actual data and is an "educated guess" by a self described Democrat firm.
Got it

Literally thanks, Obama.
He made propaganda by media legal in 2012.

And a lot of those Democrats are voting Trump. I have lots of family members, including my mom who is still registered as a Democrat but is extremely MAGA

If they want to use the least reliable voting method,
that's on them.

This isn't surprising. Every single poll shows that Democrats are going to overwhelmingly vote by mail while Republicans are going to vote in-person on election day. This is going to hurt Democrats because mail-in votes have a much higher rejection rate.

Uh, that's always been expected.
In Pa it has been suggested that 80% of Republicans will vote in person while 64% of democrats will vote by mail.

Dinner Party Banter
"So, what do you do?"
'Every 4 years, I analyze early voting'
"Yeah...excuse me...I'm going to go mingle. Maybe I can find a Life Insurance Salesman to speak with"

According to recent PA data, the rejection rate in more rural counties is about 1.5%, and near zero in urban. Lots of frickery going on already.

This was predicted by nearly everybody.
In general, Democrats are more fearful of COVID than Republicans and would naturally be more likely to vote absentee or early.
There were three hour lines yesterday to vote early in Ohio. No way in the world would I wait that long to vote early.
