Gavin Newsome is a disgusting human being but don’t count him out. He won’t be running against Trump. He will be running against JD Vance.

JD will absolutely destroy Newsome in a fair debate without biased moderators. But they will be biased. Newsome will look better, he will sound better, & the media will claim he won no matter how bad JD beat him down on facts. This is where we are now in this country.

White women will run to polls to vote for him because he looks good, sounds good, & in their insane minds they think he cares more. The Vote Blue No Matter Who people are voting Democrat no matter who is the candidate. Make no mistake, he can win. We have to do everything we can to stop him because if he is our President it is over.

Democrats have a candidate that wants to Make America Great Again
Not possible. Democrats don't "make" anything, they destroy. Democrats hate America, so they would never want America to be great.

Trump just as the dems had in Obama in 2012. If Trump endorses a Vance/Rubio ticket, it at least has some incumbency power to it.
Just like Hillary did post Obama.

Incumbency is typically a benefit, but the idea that incumbency transfers to a new ticket when the old guy endorses is just not true. Presidents win re-election way more often then the former VP winning election with his presidents support. But of course, could be different this time around.

Democrats don't have a clear leader right now. But that's pretty typical. You never know whats going to happen til the primary. In my opinion, not having a clear leader is a good thing leading in to a primary. It makes everyone want to jump in and hopefully the cream rises to the top.

Fair point

I'd argue that she also fell into the default candidate trap though

Vance is a very strong candidate

Is he? He literally stands for nothing, and will back track on anything he's ever said just to gain political points. He also has an immigrant wife, not sure that will play well with the maga base.

Republicans need to be very careful presuming the death of the democrat party. This is how confident democrats were in Obama's second term:

If the economy and affordability issues keep trending as they have been I would say there is about a 0 percent chance that republicans will be in power after the 28 elections.

GOP will hammer all the awful things he’s done in Cali, then will need to fact check the lying MSM.

Unfortunately I know a bit more about that campaign than most folks. It was winnable right up to GOTV election day.
