plenty of republicans seem ready to tank elections over the epstein files, so why would democrats want to release something that the right are destroying themselves over

RogerTheCommie and his comrade SFP were so giddy this morning over Robert Wolff’s email.

I don’t appreciate being lied to… am I missing something?
Republican Tim Burchett claimed Democrats blocked his attempt to immediately release the Epstein files… I took his word at face value until I watched the exchange.
The request was actually denied by Republican Tom Cole (R-OK), the presiding chair, due to procedural rules requiring pre-clearance from both Republican and Democratic leaders, which was not obtained.
Democratic committee leaders did not approve, likely because Burchett's "rogue" request bypassed the normal process, preventing Democrats from formally being asked.
—— However, without specific evidence, it's unclear if democrats actually refused to release the Epstein files, or if they were even consulted.
Tom Cole did the right thing as Chair, and the block was procedural. So, Republicans technically blocked it (for good reason), but Burchett's claim misrepresents this context on technicality that Democrat leadership blocked it.
I’m sick of the lies.. this is a very bad look for Tim
Hmm, kinda thinking Tim might be implicated in after the release

Blocked because they werent FORMALLY ASKED? Sounds like the Dems blocked it to me.

But he wasnt truly trying to get a bill in place, he used a different voting mechanism he knew would get automatically denied so he could I guess get his time in the spotlight? Try and get people to start arguing over the democrats? I really don't know, but it was pointless political theater.
tim burchett is a silver spoon career politician and dumb as a stump

You goofballs fall for it every single time! It is amazing how naive you are

Why block it at all? If they want it all out there so bad? Formally asked? bullshite.

These MAGA politicians know their base isn't smart enough to look into this themselves and will just believe what they're told. Watch tomorrow they'll be stating this as if it's the gospel because they saw a tweet.

Oh no. We can't put the files out there we weren't FORMALLY ASKED
Posted on 11/12/25 at 7:29 pm to hawgfaninc
It’s hilarious that people think their political enemies are going to be vanquished by these “files”
Total distraction theater, and most of you are falling for it.

If you don’t realize there’s theatrics from both sides, I don’t know what to tell you

You really think there are 10 good honest people of admirable character in Congress?

What files? I thought they said there were no files.

But but but Trump is hiding things!!!

It's simple, if the Dems deny or block the files it's because they love child rape and sex trafficking. If Republicans deny or block the files it's because there's no list and this is all a Democrat hoax to distract people.

There are 535 in congress. 100 Senators and 435 in the House of Representatives.
The number with dirty fingernails is probably closer to 530.
