Pretty much every individual in Washington over the age of 70 is unfit to serve at this point.

No, the scale has moved left over 20 years. There was no AOC wing of Congress back then. Dianne and Pelosi were solid left. They seem moderate now compared to today's 'progressive caucus.'

Question
Do you think it's wrong it's said politicians "serve" ? To me the term serve implies that said politician has made a sacrifice to help or assist others.
Most of these people are like pigs at a trough. They are "serving" no one but themselves.

That says a lot considering she had a Chinese spy in her inner daily routine. Dems didn't fear that would be a reason to not be fit to serve.

I just don’t get these people man. Without looking it up, I’m sure she’s worth millions. She’s damn near a hundred. Go retire and enjoy the last couple years you have left with family. I know it would never happen, but there really should be something that forbids you from running for any office after say 65-70. Maybe not 65, but when a person gets in their 70’’s, things can go downhill fast.

If she quits that would shift the balance of power in the Senate to the republicans temporarily until the gov of California appoints someone. Also It would most likely mean a special election to fill the remainder of the term since 2024 is a long time away. So it is possible there could be an election for her seat this year in 2022 if she leaves soon.
