At one point you were a thoughtful reasonable person.
This case has been "tried" at a national level superseding the judicial branch. Trump was not found guilty.
Overturning is a given. The question is whether action should be taken to strip the CO SOBs of their right to ever practice law in the US again.

They want the right to react violently and use it as ammo. Do not fall for it. They know it will be overturned.
"Stay our ruling until Jan4" in otherwords the day before the state person needs to know who is on the ballot.

They know it will be overturned. It sets up one of a couple of things. When it is overturned, the Nazi's will claim the SC is biased and not representative of the people and not be trusted, blah blah. Other thing they are probably counting on, is other states quickly doing it and then by the time it's overturned, it will be too late to make new ballots with Trump's name on it. Ohhhhh darn, what a shame they'll say. fricking treason going on in front of our eyes.

The problem with psychological projection at this scale, is that the people being demonized will themselves begin to project the devil in themselves back onto their tormenters.
Everyone has a dark side. The projection that will come from the right will be one of disgust. People with that temperament are very efficient in taking out the trash.
