I'll make sure to buy extra that day

At least I know what day I need to do my shopping
Posted on 2/18/25 at 11:46 pm to FLTech
The funny thing about this is they will just stock up beforehand lol.

So 2/28 will be a good day to do my shopping

I think they should hold their breathe and stomp their feet instead.
Much more effective.
Much more effective.

I don't get it.
What exactly are they protesting? What are their demands?
And exactly why would anyone be afraid of them artificially waiting one more day to buy the stuff they would have bought the day before?
It's not like they aren't going to buy the same stuff in the same quantities. They'll just buy it on March 1st instead of February 28th.
I genuinely don't get any of this.

You won't need to.
If these people were already going to buy $50 worth of gas and $200 worth of groceries that week, they still will. They will just buy it on Thursday or Saturday instead of Friday.
There's no actual loss of revenue to businesses.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

A one day boycott?
I feel bad for all the business that require 12-hour revenue cycles to stay afloat.
Otherwise, it won’t make a difference in the weekly numbers.
And most quarter numbers won’t change.
Maybe we could teach everyone who signs up for this how revenue cycling actually works for free instead?

Exactly.
But they aren't the only ones that don't seem to understand. Seems like every 5th post or so on this thread is someone promising to buy extra stuff to make up for...what?

Welp, that settles it
On February 28th, I shall spend $5000 of my savings on only patriot-owned companies. It's cool because I'm down below 2000 rds of 9mm and 556 anyway, so that's a good day to restock.

Do they not understand that is the start of Mardis Gras weekend? Like we are going to give anything up until March 5th this year.
Posted on 2/19/25 at 1:11 am to FLTech
That is a great way to spend more on March 1.

I'll do that. I will just buy an extra $50 worth of gas and the 4 gallon bucket of cheeseballs the day before. Then I will have Taco Bell and Chili's the day after.

"Black" out?
How about we just exclude them from now on?
