The rational part of me want to think their is more to the story than we're seeing, but after the last couple days, nothing is rational anymore.

My hypothetical personal cancellation of delta has nothing to do with any sort of culture, and everything to do with them going out of their way to waste my time for something that has zero impact on my safety.
And again, this has to have cost them thousands. I don’t know what the fuel burn of this jet is, but in a thermodynamic sense, the amount of energy required to reaccelerate this plane to 500mph and carry it back up to 35k feet has to be massive.

Major corporations, collectively, have donated tens of millions of dollars to BLM type organizations.
I understand your capitalistic approach, but companies donating money for public favor is nothing new.
Yes, this isn't a donation, but it does cut against the idea that corporations won't throw a bit of money on the fire if it'll save them more money.

My guess is that they were dressed in Maga gear. They were talking amongst themselves and were able to be heard by some Karens, who complained to the stewardess. The stewardesses asked the to be quiet. The Magas objected and the stewardess reported her/ his/it’s problem to the captain. The rest is automatic CYA.

This seems suspicious to me that they’d burn thousands of dollars to land and most people on the plane wouldn’t flip their shite. Seriously if someone announced that klansman or Stalinist was on the plane and they’re turning it around, I would start yelling. One thing to pull it back up to the gate, but landing it? Not buying. I’m going to need some more proof.
