Delta @Delta is now running DEI ads. 2 grown passengers are crying literal tears because the crew are all female and representation is so important.

Let’s just hope they’re not compromising on qualifications in order to fill quotas.

video of two completely normal and totally mentally healthy women passengers breaking down in tears upon discovering their flight crew is all womenz/posted on twitter

There's a clip of Chrissie Mayr mocking this by "crying tears of joy" when seeing two old white men in the cockpit of a return flight.

Look. I know I'm an old curmudgeon, but do the feminists think this sort of thing helps their cause?

If women are just as, or more capable of such roles, why are we making a big deal out of it?

Women have been flying planes since WWII...and probably before. This is well-documented.

Drawing attention to this would seem to marginalize women in aviation history. As if none of them could have done this previously without a man.

Well, their ability to understand and physically calculate length is understandable since all their life they've been told 5" is 7".

If the hiring pool is predominantly men, then statistically you are getting lower qualified pilots by cherry picking based on a criterion that is not performance based.
