re: Deep State gonna Deep State

If you had asked me a couple of years ago to give three picks of people to destroy the deep state, it would probably be Kash Patel, Dan Bongino, and Matt Gaetz. We have two of them at the top two positions in the FBI and they seem like some combination of compromised, scared, and/or ineffective.

What do you think is Patel and Bongino's story?
I mean Carlson and Miranda DeVine is doing their work and then they say ongoing investigation we will have news soon on J6 pipe bomb.
They closed all cases.
is their issues? Are they being bubble wrapped as Seraphin and a few other WB's said?
Turn on Ingraham Miranda is speaking about this.

I think Kash and Dan have a sense they are being undermined by the rank and file and are having difficulty trying to figure out how to deal with that without creating a mutiny in a bureaucracy that likely hates them. The pipe bomber case should have been solved in a week. There are surely people in government who have known who it was all along.
I also believe deep down they may be threatened if they push too far on some things and so they just say "we looked at the file and there isn't anything more to investigate."

The GOP in DC hate their base.
Like actually loathe them.
It’s well known and joked about in DC on both sides of the aisle.
We’re a bunch of bumpkins they have to placate every few years but they’d rather kickoff a revolution before they give over control of the party apparatus to MAGA/AF/the base because it would be the end of them politically and financially.
And make no mistake, Trump gained some control over the GOP apparatus nationally, but they made no attempt to conquer the county and state level GOP offices so we have zero shot at getting good local and state level candidates into office. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised at all if a deal was cut where the GOPe would give lukewarm support locally for his presidential bid in return for not ousting them from their local fiefdoms.
Thanks, Tide. Really good insights.

Do you trust any politicians to explore this...or even just raise the issue? Upon election, are they just shown the Zapruder film followed by "any questions?"
Yes. I bet they show that to DJT and then footage of Barron on the NYU campus

Democracy is a dirty business. I believe that you will never know anything they don’t want you to know. There are many things done without our knowledge that would cause the participants to face prison time, however these things sometimes need doing. The world isn’t fair, and there are very dangerous people who want to destroy our nation so they may operate with impunity. It takes tough men and women to keep the wolves at bay, and they are charged with keeping this nation safe. I’m fine not knowing the particulars and I support them in their endeavors.

I wanted the files fully released because it would tamp down a talking point against Trump.
quote:Why should they be protected? These people claim to be our betters, their flaws say otherwise.
I genuinely believe that Trump's opposition to the release was to prevent things such as what happened to Larry Summers: exposure of embarrassing (but not criminal) lapses of powerful, married men.
quote:So why convict any rapist, murder or theif (they can’t pay back what they stole from jail)?
I don't think release of the files will help the Epstein victims at all.
quote:I once hoped this too. But his first term should have made you suspicious he wouldn’t. His full backing of Kevin McCarthy, Mike Johnson, Lindsey Graham, the TikTokFlipFlop and re-passing Biden’s budget have all provided anyone with evidence that Trump talks a big game, does something else.
One of the main reasons I support Trump is I believed he was going to take on the Deep State.

quote:Seems like the opposite. Trump has backed Kevin McCarthy, Mike Johnson, and Lindsey Graham that’s as GOPe as it gets. Those RINOs just passed a massive debt and spending bill, while lying to all of us saying there would cuts “later”. Classic GOPe “send me back to DC, so I can get’em next time”.
And make no mistake, Trump gained some control over the GOP apparatus nationally,
Trump and MAGAcolytes cheered all that nonsense. The cuts are not coming. Heard anything about “recission bills” lately?

My interest in the Epstein files was because they MIGHT have given us a window into how the Deep State operates...though, of course, I realize that the actual Deep State wouldn't allow documentation of its misdeeds to survive.
This is the key reason for the release of the files. Not justice at this point. Apparently justice has already occurred, good, bad or indifferent. What I want exposed is the depth of immorality, criminality and depravity our intelligence community is willing to go to gain leverage on politically powerful and rich people. We confirmed today our intelligence community has many sick son of bitches that will never see justice because they are protected under the guise of “national security”.

Yeah.
How the hell do you arrest, try, and convict two people for trafficking underage kids for sex, yet nobody was ever arrested for having said underage kids trafficked TO THEM?
Nobody is asking this question (that is the loudmouths in DC), and IMHO it speaks volumes.

Call me callous, but I think the sexual crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and associates have already been addressed through prosecutions and/or civil compensation. I believed the DOJ when they stated in their July Memorandum that the Epstein files showed that no one else should be criminally charged
3 people were arrested and there should be many more.
1. Ghislaine Maxwell-Plead guilty without naming names
2. Jeffrey Epstein-“Suicide” by hanging himself in jail before he named names
3. Jean-Luc Brunel-“Suicide” by hanging himself in jail before he named names
Files for the 3 people arrested have not been released. Jean-Luc Brunel was arrested in Paris trying to flee the country. France will have files that were given to the US. Brunel sent girls to Epstein in Florida, NY, and the Virgin Islands. Some of the girls were as young as 12.

We're all for punishment...but the Trump DOJ July Memorandum declared that they had closely examined the Epstein files and there was no information which would support additional criminal charges.

examined the Epstein files
They examined Epstein federal court files. The files they examined were a small portion of the 300 gigabytes of material the FBI has investigated. It also does not include state files or files from France and other European countries.
Bank records were not part of the federal court files. The bank records will lead back to people that have not been named.

Interesting...I thought they examined everything that was in the hands of the DOJ.
Do you have a link? Thanks
