Take a look at what they involve:

Iran, nuclear weapons, Palestine, Colombian narcos, Sudan, the Balkans, Zimbabwe, post-9/11 action, Belarus, Congo, North Korea, Somalia, Libya, Yemen, Crimea, Chinese cyber-attacks, Nicaragua.

Essentially zero of that is relevant to domestic policy.

This is a shite precedent, and it's the kind of thing that will come back to bite conservatives in the arse. And to think we all (rightfully) complained about Obama's abuse of EO's.

Yep, none of those you listed harm our country like illegal immigration.

Declare and build.

It's a terrible move. Every president since W has advanced the limits on executive power and it's only going to get worse.

You do realize that the only reason this is even being said is because the media has pushed this idea correct. There have been numerous executive orders used before with barely a peep. The left is unhinged about this because they now realize that their gotcha moment on Trump amounted to a turd. Muh Pelosi played Trump. It’s also huge because the Dems know that this is what Trump ran on and is a victory for the bad orange man. There is no constitutional amendment that says that the country should or cannot be protected.

The talking points have been disseminated, and even our own are buying into them. The lefties take them hook, line and sinker. Now some righties are as well.

You naïve enough to think that them doing something like this is contingent upon Pres. Trump?

Stop pretending that "if we just don't make em' angry, perhaps the Left will play nice" cuz' that's the kind of thinking that landed us here in the first place.

They may have but if that’s the case then they never trusted Trump. Emotions are playing a big part into a lot of these feelings. You either love or hate him. The ones that hate him, hope he fails and don’t care if the country is destroyed in the process. Truth is that this is nothing different than past emergencies.

Besides, Trump has another budget fight coming up. He could have used DACA as a bargain tool to get more funding.

He could have, but that would require that he isn't the worst President ever at dealmaking.

Republicans would prefer to complain about Democrats eventually using the power Trump is using vs actually beating Democrats to the punch for once. We’ve tried the other way 30 years or so. Let’s just see what happens this once. Just for shits and giggles.

The same amount that were declared to stop rampant child trafficking.

31 of them are still ongoing!!

31 declared national emergencies still in effect

Medicated Nancy sounds like she's never heard of this ever being done before.

As for her making the threat regarding guns, that only confirms what most of us already know: The Democratic Party ultimately wants to disarm the American people. She outed them once and for all on that, yesterday.

Hey stupid, you gotta make a stand. The more Trump exposes the demo desire for open borders the better. Funny thing is, I have 2 super liberal Trump hating friends who when I asked them if they want open borders they sheepishly said no.

The Green New Deal, by executive fiat! This was never even thought possible before!

I think the next Dem President will declare an emergency for guns regardless of what Trump does. However, the media will be supportive when the Dem does it.

What will this entail? We have to give up our guns?

I guess I am confused. Is national emergency announcement required to shift previously approved funds around? If a national emergency fund is required why are amounts limited? Can the drug funds from El Chapo be seized and redirected to border security with out National Emergency like Ted Cruz is proposing?

I am less concerned about a future president declaring National Emergency (it be done like 70+ times since the 70's and could be done whether Trump does it or not.) The concern would be for Executive Branch to shift funds from congressional approved "buckets" around without congress approval. That's thin Ice in my mind.
