The thing about debates is that it’s really not the best setting for either of these guys. Trump does better in the rally setting. Biden, well, he’s not good at speaking in any setting.

Trump for better or worse is a “big picture” guy. He just doesn’t have a mastery of the details which is a problem in debates.
Could you imagine someone like Cruz or Vivek or DeSantis in a debate format like this? It would be an absolute annihilation. Biden sucks and Trump is doing fine but he is leaving SO much low hanging fruit out there.
