Hey Horn, We are supposed to have a privately owned and controlled economic system that had developed into the greatest economy this planet has ever known
It started going in the crapper when the government started running huge deficits and writing checks they cant cash without printing.
Granted Trump could do more to slow spending but at least he tried- remember when he appointed Musk to find fraud and waste? Which he did in the 100's of millions.
Unfortunately the eco is now addicted to increasing gov spending. If you shut it down we'd go into a sharp recession. And as your post shows most people have no clue how our system works or is at least supposed to work. Gov needs to minimize its impact on the rconomy.
