I have stated many time here that there is an attack on Christians and their freedoms. Many here laughed and their favorite line "oh yeah... you are so oppressed".

They failed to see the the small movements in several areas that made up a complete picture. I get that some are not Christians who took that stance.

I now hope that you all will reconsider due to what you are seeing coming out of the Left.

News Anchors stating you don't need God.

Christians being attacked in broad daylight for having Prayer.

States telling Churches they can not have a drive up service where they never leave their car.

The very loud and clear message that people like De Blasio spout should be enough for any non Christian to understand that if this can happen to anybody... any group.

They went after the largest group in the USA. And are getting away with it.

Washington Examiner
@dcexaminer
"The protests were an entirely different reality, a national phenomenon, that not something the government could just say 'go away'... [they] obviously had profound meaning..."

@BilldeBlasio defends banning religious gatherings but not Black Lives Matter protests

The clear implications for church services is astounding. The Marxists have the nerve to say aloud what they’ve thought for decades.

There are ways around the ban:

These clever Hasidic kids decided to turn their carnival into a "Justice for George Floyd" rally and now the NYPD cannot break it up.

Tonight's Justice for George Floyd Shabbat Services are sure to be interesting as well.

Honestly people should stand outside of house and office and throw rotten eggs at him. This piece of fricking shite. What balls, what fricking balls. When he dies, I am going to make a pilgrimage to shite on his grave. Not that I’ll need to because if there’s a hell, this giant ogre is going to it and will be dressed up next to this guy:

All church services are okay, nationwide now. No repercussions possible.

Put some signs out front and have the pastor email the local authorities that they are hosting a peaceful prayer gathering to oppose racial injustice. Don't have to mention a group (BLM, etc.), keep it generic.

THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT NOW THAT THEY'VE GONE DOWN THAT ROAD!

So religious gatherings are not profound in meaning yet BLM protests are? Perhaps he's right if by profound he means a remarkable assembly of dumbasses.

The First Amendment is another way around the ban.

I say this as an atheist, but I think religion qualifies as profound and meaningful to its believers. Trampling on religious freedoms is abhorrent.

then the idiot does not realize he does not get to pick and choose and opened himself up to an even bigger lawsuit if he keeps one from happening and not the other...

Same here.

I'll go round and round with FooManChoo about specifics, but this is outrageous.

Our Bill of Rights applies to everyone. Once we let politicians pick and choose who gets it it's worthless.

Ditto and agree.

Notice what religions they will harass too.

Just for this alone he should be removed from office. He is an idiot antisemite who has singlehandedly ruined our crown jewel. I don’t see how anyone can stand in the same room with him without flinging something at his fat fricking head. When he leaves office, someone should carve a hammer and sickle into his forehead so he has nowhere to hide. No way he could walk down the street without someone telling him to frick off every 30 seconds.
