Listened to the whole thing.
In DM eyes, Israel and the Israeli population is special.
Just like BLM was in the eyes of dems.
It was beyond frustrating to listen to.

Just finished it as well. I'm a fan of Murray and Smith, and enjoy listening to their takes on various issues.
However, this wasn't a great debate performance by Douglas. From the start, he was quite antagonistic, and kept bogging down the conversation with critiques of Dave's vocabulary and characterization of certain topics. Yet at the same time, kept mischaracterizing Dave's actual arguments, and dismissed direct quotes.
I almost had to shut it off when Douglas was giving Dave shite for never visiting Gaza. I was glad Rogan finally stepped in, told Douglas to stop interrupting, and move on.

Nah. Floyd signed his own death warrant that day, but Chauvin stayed on that dude's neck too long for protocol
Him being convicted on murder is a bridge too far, but the dude should be stripped of his badge and unable to show his face in Minnesota again.
maybe that's the whacko libertarian in me coming out. i'm back the blue but the dude was a moron for being able to be filmed that long on a neck/shoulder.

outside of Ukraine and Israel, I agree with Murray a whole lot, but both of these are accurate. he's just pretentious and smarmy. numerous time Dave is willing to concede points to find common ground where he agrees that Putin is bad or Gaza has done wrong and Murray waves away anything that doesn't support his point of view.
He literally said "yeah that was just one one recording, but ignore that."

i don't even care about eloquence in debate. i won district debate 3 years in a row and got 3rd at state and i can get my arse handed to me easily when the facts aren't on my side..
Murray just flat out isn't acting in good faith throughout the whole thing and you can tell that Smith is trying to find common ground throughout.
the entire Cooper portion of the debate sets the tone for Murray's entire take.
"he's a holocaust denier."
no he covers the horrors of pogroms and the holocaust very well in "fear and loathing in the new jersalem," and will have a long portion of the evils of the holocaust in his new WWII series.
"he's a nazi sympathizer and hitler apologist"
no, he calls Hitler an evil drug addeled psychopath
"he thinks Churchill is the great villain of WWII"
no, he said that Churchill did several actions between the treaty of Versailles and post-invasion of Poland that escalated the war.
