Now if you want to talk about should the cop be fired. We can agree on that. If you want to talk about the police department being full of people that should not be cops. We will agree.

So a 1% chance is enough to justifiably kill someone, just to clarify.

Well here is a thought...how about don't pull people over for chicken crap revenue generating reasons.

How about following the laws and not have to worry about the cops.

It does increase the odds in your favor.

Let's compare that with your first post where you said the only tragedy was that this officer would "have it on his record."

Truth, and it can be useful to do so, but certainly not in the manner we've mostly seen in this thread.

And I stand by that statement. That is going to follow him forever. I don't think he should have unloaded his clip on the guy. But I'm not losing sleep over him being dead either.
And before you try to twist that to fit your narrative. My issue with him unloading his clip has to do with the passengers that he put in harms way.

You'll need to address that question to the department for which he worked.

Police negligence obviously isn't a crime, but at least it's still considered a fireable (firable?) offense.

Justin Amash is arguably the most principled Congressperson in DC.

Not according to the 12 jurors.
People wanted an arrest in this case and they got it.
People wanted charges pressed and they got it.
People wanted a conviction and didn't get it, but complain the system is rigged. You win some and you lose some. HEEEY HEEEY HEEEY

If he is a politician he has lied and told you what you want to hear for your vote. Period. Republican or Democrat does not matter.
