Election forecaster Nate Silver has made a fresh prediction about Democrats' chances of seizing control of Congress, with his latest model giving the party a 94 percent chance of winning the House and a 75 percent chance of taking the Senate. The updated forecast, published Monday in his Silver Bulletin newsletter, comes just over two weeks before Americans head to the polls on November 3, with Republicans fighting to hold on to their majorities in both chambers.

Nate Bronze is an idiot — Republicans will keep the Senate and the House will be very close either way

This is almost a tautology. The president's party almost always loses seats.

Silver is always right when things go well for Democrats.
Another way of looking at it is he’s only right when things go well for Democrats.

Is he the guy that came up with the algorithm 538 used?
The one ABC decided to shutdown instead of continuing to look foolish even after paying millions to get it?

after 2016 i don't put ANY stock into pollsters, like Silver, Luntz, etc....
their info just isn't as reliable, and too often they don't include all the variables possible in their projections, making them no more reliable than you or I as far as predictions go

All of these predictions are based on a couple days of early voting skewing towards Democrats in some states. I'll admit that could be a bad sign for Republicans or it could ultimately not really mean a whole lot compared to the next two weeks of voting.
