In general, it's a sad commentary on our situation that we started out with travel restrictions to Europe and at this point they're keeping us out because we've got so many cases.

Our "spread" is 100% testing/number fudging at this point.

Europe doing better because they don't have all the fatties we do.

And more exposure to coronaviruses.
Cross-immunity between respiratory coronaviruses may limit COVID-19 fatalities

That was the article I was looking for the other day. I knew I had read it but couldn’t find it again.

The positivity rate continues to remain level as the testing curve increases. The 7 day average for deaths is up but the growth rate of deaths is flat.

I find it hilarious y’all are still tracking these fake numbers

Well then if for no other reason than to provide you with entertainment, I will keep doing it.

What i can't figure out is why everyone was reporting totally above board when the deaths fit the narrative the board wanted. Declining and no uptick with cases.
You get one little up tick and all the sudden the numbers are all lies. Just seems convenient to me.

The issue is that many of the deaths reported each day did not occur that day, so it’s impossible to analyze trends

And it is beyond frustrating. Dumping death statistics from May and June just to keep panic up in July seems criminal.
Yet nothing will be done...

Nice straw man - the numbers were fricky from jump street. Then they started all that "deaths FROM Wuhan" to "deaths WITH Wuhan" bullshite and the frickery was off to the races.

A manufactured one, at that

Nope. Not "all the sudden" - the whole time the numbers have been fricky. The past couple of weeks, especially so.

I mean it should be easy for these state governments to designate this separately for data analysis purposes. I mean Mississippi does this, but many states don't.

Lancet publishing today that the British Cov-2 vaccine induced humoral response in all subjects, was reasonably tolerated. It did require two doses, though (same as the Moderna vaccine). 4 different groups have published or circulated pre-prints on safety/immunogenicity stage research in the past week. Oxfor group moving on to see if it's protective. Moderna, btw, starts their 30,000 participant effectiveness trial next week.
