Customer in gas station takes out man that left and came back with a shotgun.

A man tried to use a shotgun to threaten a gas station clerk, but he didn't count on a customer in the store being a law-abiding good guy with an interest in protecting the community.
Ofa'tangikivaha Angilau (a classic Utah name right there) tried to purchase alcohol at a gas station without ID. After the cashier denied the purchase, Angilau became enraged and started shouting at the clerk.
The angry man then left the store, went to his car, drove around a bit and came back, and instead of producing ID for the purchase, he produced a shotgun.
Here's KSL in Utah:
[Riverton public information officer Nate] Slack said the man drove around, but soon came back with a shotgun, and an individual inside the gas station chose to fire and killed Angilau. After being shot, Angilau exited the store and collapsed outside, where he died from his injuries.
He said the person who shot the man has been very cooperative with officers.
'I think this is why a lot of people do conceal carry just to protect themselves in situations like this. Obviously a very unfortunate situation, but they do occur; they are rare, however, especially here in Riverton,' Slack said.
The police haven't named the hero who fired the deadly shot, but it sounds like they are thankful for his contribution to society.

In many of these cases, it’s almost like DA’s are looking out for the criminals to prosecute law abiding baws.
A show on A&E Accused: Guilty or Innocent have a boatload of overzealous DA’s sticking it to normal people. I’m surprised there aren’t more DA murders to be honest considering their behavior. For the record, I’m not advocating for that to happen of course. Just surprising is all considering their treatment.

The shooter should make it very clear that he assumed that the psychopath would not leave any witnesses and that he was in legit fear for his life. Otherwise, the DEI wolves will come calling.

It actually is. The guy is Tongan. Utah has the largest Tongan population in the country because of their ties to the church.

Not one you would expect to hear in Riverton for sure. Not surprised someone was packing. Riverton is one of the many suburbs Mormons moved to after left coasters started moving in the areas around downtown.

But they mostly stay way to the northernmost part of the valley around Ogden. Musta came down to Riverton for Auntie's. The very best Hawi'ian food in the valley.
