The last time NYC froze rents, it resulted in a lot of arson in the Bronx and the Lower East Side where the cheap apartments were. Property taxes went up but rent was frozen and a lot of the cheap places weren't making money enough to maintain their buildings to start with.
Needless to say, it did more harm to lower income people than anyone else.

Sliwa has his orders to stand down once again (just as in previous races.)
I for one reject the entire NYC mayoral race charade where a Mamdani is not only an acceptable candidate by any measure, but THE frontrunner. IMPOSSIBLE.
This is clearly one more make-believe, rigged political appointment (by the Globalist Cabal) designed to demoralize America.

Mandami is the Democrats problem to deal with, not Sliwa. Sliwa supposedly opposes everything about Cuomo so why should he be obligated to help him and the Democrats?
So far, there have been no Democrats voicing opposition to Mandami so it's NY and Democrats problem to deal with. NY is going to go far into the toilet and it's likely to destroy what is left of moderate Democrat support.
