My thinking is the democrats don’t really want these weirdos to get in any office of power but they love to have the votes and support. Trans people are loud and destructive and pushy and carry the Democrat message as well as anyone. But the higher ups don’t want them anywhere near power, they’ll let them run but they make sure they don’t win most of the time. A few slip through but overall they try to keep them at bay.
