I prefer to think of it as "They" rather than "We".

I raised three men who turned into MAGA Conservatives. One daughter is MAGA Conservative and the other is Independent/Libertarian.
Never once tried to steer their political views and never would have. My father raised me to be a staunch liberal and I always resented that part of my upbringing.
