This is Corey trying to drive a wedge between kids and conservatives and Jesus. He says Jesus would be there for Tran’s and gay kids because the reaction he wants is for the right to condemn the kids. He wants conservatives to argue against what Jesus has said.. He’s invoking Jesus name knowing full well the punishment awaits those who have pushed kids into these lifestyles, not the kids.

Exactly. And they do it readily.

How is that for frickin "depth of thought"? By condemning these kids and calling them sinners, the good Christians here do exactly what Corey Booker hopes they will do when he says this.

The Bible already ruled on this Cory. Pick it up sometime and give it a read.

I mean, that exact quote isn’t untrue. He would be with them, calling them to repent and castigating the gnostic-legalistic hypocrites who led them astray. He would have some shocking prescriptions for their fate.

There is no such thing as a gay or trans kid.

It’s clearly written

If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.'”

MATTHEW 18:2-6

Meaning if you purposely do something to these kids to steal their innocence (push them into a gay or trans lifestyle for example) you will invoke the wrath of God not the children will invoke it. He’s telling you clearly he is going to avenge what you’ve done to those kids. So if he’s spelling it out that clearly, why would anyone argue that he wouldn’t be there with them? Corey is toast trying to play this game with God

Yep. He probably knows this too. They don't care. They stand in open defiance of God.

Yes, he would tell them to turn away from what they are doing and sin no more.

So, he goes to a church that preaches Jesus would be on the side of and supporting the Gay and Trans kids, parents and people?

Cool beans.

There really isn't anything to suggest that he wouldn't. He was known for befriending outcasts of all types. Lepers, prostitutes, the afflicted. That doesn't mean he wouldn't also be among more ordinary people but if you believe the stories of the Gospel it's very likely that he would be engaging with these outcasts and other outcasts like the homeless and drug addicts.

If you don't think this would happen you fundamentally misunderstand Christianity.

I honestly don’t know exactly what Jesus would say to them. I do know He would meet them with love and compassion. But just as He did with the woman caught in adultery and the Samaritan woman at the well, He would also lovingly point out their sin, call them to repentance, and tell them to go and sin no more. He did the same for me, and I believe He would do the same for them as well.

Correction. Jesus never mentioned the word homosexuality, but He did say sexual immorality which does include homosexuality along with fornication and adultery. One is not any better than the other. Mark 7:21-23.

I’m not seeing what’s so hard to grasp. If Jesus is saying don’t mess with these kids and cause them to sin or you’ll feel my wrath, why would he curse the kids if some wicked adult such as a parent or teacher groomed them for a gay or trans lifestyle? Anyone trying to argue that he would say screw them kids is trying to obfuscate what he has said.

Point taken. Still yet, he wouldn't be going around lambasting children over stuff like this. It wasn't a focus of his ministry obviously as he never even one time specifically mentions it, instead using a broader term "sexual immorality" which includes things like adultery. You say one is not better than the other, but in my view, adultery is a whole different level than homosexual relations.

"For it is within, out of a person's heart, that evil thoughts come."

And in any event, the context we are talking about here is still children who are impressionable by the machinations of evil men like Booker. I stand by my point that he would show compassion for children, would not damn them as sinners, but absolutely WOULD damn Booker for what he has done to these same children.
