Fair or not, the media will blame him if the economy slows and portray him as anti science and bumbling in his response. Crappy luck that this virus happened now as opposed to early 2021.

Even if no new cases arise starting today, the curtailed economic activity is likely to be reported as a recession in Q2 or Q3 this year.

The Media cannot doom Trump as he communicates directly to the people, who actually are far smarter than the Media!!

He told the country today “the risk is low”. Media will spin that and have a field day if we get a large outbreak in the US.

Most logical people will realize there was nothing that could be done and of course Trump is not to blame for the virus or any corresponding dips in the stock market. Unfortunately for him logical people weren't going to vote for him in the first place.

I listened to some of the press conference this evening and Trump seemed to make sense when speaking. He came off sounding better than he has in a long time.

Coincidence" that this shite is released months before our election...with the comical slate of dems running.... This shot is suspect. I don't think sane Americans will blame Trump for this shite...nor will they blame him for a stock market hit as a result of some freak and "random" pandemic. It's not going to affect him. He didn't make the virus, he didn't release the virus, and there is no vaccine for it, at this time, for him to approve.
And while I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, I wouldn't be surprised if this virus was released with the very hope that it could be blamed on Trump.
Trump is an existential threat to socialism/communism EVERYWHERE, not just here. The thought of China working with the DNC to create fear and hysteria is not hard for me to believe.
Edit- I suppose downvoters DO put it past China and the DNC to create a story in a desperate attempt to cast negative attention on their grim reaper. Even though he has nothing to do with it, and only an idiot would blame him for it.
