I sometimes get into conversations where I challenge people by saying Trump could cure cancer and the left would blame him for putting doctors out of work. If someone were ever bright enough to come back at me with "Name one thing Obama did that you wouldn't slam."

The best I have right now is reaching out to Cuba. No big downside or risk (to me), and we are accomplishing nothing with the embargo at this point. I'm not saying it was absolutely the right thing to do, but it's like a AA-ball version of the NoKo thing.

Anybody have anything better? (Cause I really think a lot of the stuff he gets credit for is not just overblown. It's downright bad.)

I mean...it was a shite-show...but nice that his husband pushed healthier eating, gardening, and such.

Pulled out of Iraq. I don't think they went about it the best way possible but it needed to be done.

I thought he did some good stuff with commuting sentences for non-violent drug offenders. I mean, I like the idea of shortening unnecessarily long sentences for drug offenses. I don't know all the particulars of what Obama actually did, so it may not have been a good thing. On the surface though I didn't have a problem with it.

I guess the best thing he did was circumvent congress on most things allowing everything he did to be pulled down with the stroke of a new presidents pen. I mean he could have really made it difficult for his policies to be unwound if he had led congress effectively. Thanks Obama.

Allowing U.S. companies to export Natural Gas. Was pretty pumped to hear that actually.

Softening on Cuba.

Okaying the attack on OBL in Pakistan.

Standing up to Israel (Not a fan of how he did it).

Recognised his mistake of hiring a bunch of Clinton sycophants and fired most of them after about 2 years - shows good judgment.

Pardoned a bunch of minor offenders.

I liked his media tours that showed the President is an actual person who sometimes like basketball or cigars. Relatability and empathy are key to negotiation and oversight. The better we understand someone, the better we can judge their service to us. Trump and Twitter is just an extension of this.

Allowed Bin Laden to be killed. Even Bill Clinton fricked that one up.

Taking out Bin Laden. And he had to be dragged kicking and screaming into doing that.
