Which is about as reasonable as when liberals bitch that Republicans haven't purged the Neo-Nazis. You can't exactly gate-keep a system of belief.

Yes probably true. We're currently see it drift into nationalism which doesn't particularly bother me.

My beef is with libertarians, not libertarianism. I like Hoppe, but he's wrong. libertarianism is dead, and it was killed by basement dwelling libertines.

It ignores human nature, which makes it highly impractical.

What a fuking joke. The principal of killing the unborn up to and including the third trimester. The principal that grown men should be in school bath rooms with our 8,9,10,11 year old daughters, the principal that all whites are racist, biggits and that all whites and their culture should be destroyed, the principal that we should have open boarders to change the demographics of our country from white to brown, the principal to abolish law and order, the principal that a sitting president can be impeached simply because you didn’t vote for him. I could go on, but I’ll just leave you with the response you don’t want to hear but will and very soon. You sorry MF’ers are fuking with the wrong group on this planet and will find that out soon enough and the response you’ll get will be final. Just remember one thing it was you fuks that started. Is that clear enough for you.

Please tell me what, exactly, conservatives have "won" in the last few decades? And I mean real world, tangible victories, not "won an election", etc. What issue in the pantheon of conservative thought has been advanced in any marked way? From where I'm sitting, it looks like a neverending string of losses.

A nice one, but a fantasy.

IMO it's probably not practical on a large scale (such as our country) in it's purest form, because people are too dependent on Gov't, and most people are just incapable of thinking for themselves. The principles would never take hold for the majority of the population.

That doesn't mean you can't believe in those principles though. Every small step is a positive IMO.

I would agree with libertarian principles across most of the board. The problem I have with it as a philosophy is that it’s internally inconsistent. The philosophy suggest that personal rights and liberties come from God and therefore cannot be granted or restricted by the government.

Conversely they would say everyone should have the personal liberty to do whatever they want regardless of if it’s consistent with the laws of God or His nature. So where it succeed in defining right, it fails in defining what is right. You cannot contradict the laws of God but accept the liberties provided by God without being inconsistent.

Libertarianism exists to win theoretical political arguments and give it's proponents a way to argue about what a virtuous government would look like if such a thing ever existed. But it does not seek to do the one essential thing a political philosophy must do to be viable: GOVERN. Because of this it remains marginalized and orphaned.

Did you read any of that series on ZerothPosition I linked the other day? It expounds a lot on HHH's conception of libertarian monarchy.

This is the greatest failing of libertarian writers and it is being worked on at the moment.
