I see a lot of Desantis vs. Trump talk on this forum, but to me this plays into the whole thing we saw with Rispone and Abraham, basically a split vote among GOP causing a bunch of people to stay home in the general election because they're mad their guy didn't get the nom.

When push comes to shove, will you vote for the GOP nominee as long as it's Trump or Desantis? I'm very curious to see what people have to say.

Independents are really cuck liberals that don’t have the balls to admit they’re liberals.

I'll absolutely vote for the GOP nominee.

Would prefer DeSantis though.

Would vote for either RD or Trump. Would not vote for someone like Romney or Cheney.

Not if it's a Romney, Cheney, or Bush.

I think there are a lot of people today who consider themselves to be independents because they don’t align with either establishment side.

If those are the choices, yes. And I 100% think it'll be one of those two. I'm actually fairly confident that of Trump runs DeSantis will sit out. No good comes from those two throwing haymakers at each other during a primary.

It is exactly what it is designed to do.

Like I stated in many threads and the latest one being Pence, the goal is to rid the party of Trump. To let the peasants know who is in control and don't you EVER get out of line again.

DeSantis is not running.

So, if he buys into whoever is behind the push, it will be the first warning for me. Who he surrounds himself with after that will be the next. Pence is already in the background right now trying to gain a foothold.

Democrats acted like total fing idiots regarding Covid. I will not vote for any D in 22 or 24.

We’ll never be there. A real third party candidate guarantees a Democrat victory.

See: the 1992 Election of William Jefferson Clinton.

Trump is the only Presidential proven commodity. He does what he says he’s going to do.

With DeSantis, how can we know if the action will match the rhetoric?

Solely because it's GOP? Fat fricking chance.

If it's because it's either Don or Ron, then yes. They'd both do a phenomenal job
