Change my mind.

You sound like you are 14, so I’m going to answer you this way: Add up all the viewers from all the late night tv guys, and then look up a guy named Rush Limbaugh. He died a year or two ago, and late night tv will probably need another 10 years to have the same number of viewers to Rush listeners.

Conservatives are WAY behind the liberal mantra of right is wrong and wrong is right.

Media types aren't usually conservative. Its a lot paying, fairly easy job.

The industry attracts leftists just like the Dishwashing trade.

Not saying you’re wrong, but the fact that statists control television programming should come as no big surprise. They absolutely must if they have any hope or subverting an entire nation.

State media is state media for a reason. What they say doesn't have to be true... all that matters is if enough personalities and media entities echo the same thing at around the same time.

That's not just a motley crew of liberals in charge. That's the establishment pushing out narratives.

Conservative personalities also have what they are given by the establishment. If not to create the illusion of counter culture.. we'd see tucker and hannity spewing the same propaganda as Maddow and Reid.

My God. You’re so cringeworthy.

And you're soft and out of touch with everything.

Here you go, Liberace. LINK

Small Market TV Anchor Salary
quote:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, anchors working in small markets may earn as little as $20,160 annually. As of May 2017, the annual mean wage for TV broadcasters in southeastern Mississippi, for example, was $22,820. On-air talent in Huntsville, Alabama, fared better at $29,040 per year. Western Nebraskan newscasters averaged $29,380 annually, while in the south central part of Tennessee, the mean was just $21,550.

Medium-Sized Market Pay

As anchors gain experience, they update their reels, find better agents and, hopefully, move up to better-paying markets. In western North Dakota, as of May 2017, the BLS reports the mean annual wage was $34,550. Anchors in Portland, Maine, earned a mean salary of $35,800, while Des Moines, Iowa salaries averaged $56,410. Anchors who despise big-city living, but enjoy living large, might consider West Palm Beach where, in 2017, the mean salary was nearly $38,400.

Large Market Salary Potential

Large markets are where the big bucks are. According to the BLS, the average news reporter salary in New York City was $94,640 in May 2017, making it the highest metropolitan area pay in the country. The San Francisco, Portland, Milwaukee, San Antonio, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas are also high-paying cities.

Anchors in San Francisco, thanks in large part to award-winning news station KTVU in Oakland, earned a mean annual wage of $71,480 as of May 2017. Seattle talent made on average $64,490, while those in Houston made $77,610. The news broadcaster salary in Rockville, Maryland, was $86,710 on average. The pay in Los Angeles and Chicago came down to a mean of $54,570 to $59,120. Anchors with more experience, higher ratings and better reputations can expect to earn significantly more than the mean.

Starting pay for recent graduates are lower than you can make as a waiter.

Holy frick. You equate “the media” with local television news? You’re such a boomer.

And I’m soft? Bitch, I make more money than a tour guide in Alaska.

I’m starting to get there too. These politics are mostly theater and there is a long list of characters.

Probably 90% of the American media IS local.

The pendulum will swing back and when it does it’s swinging back hard. Don’t let them convince you this country isn’t still full of God fearing Patriots. Patriots with morals and values.

Every AM station here has a partner FM station. And an app or stream.
Ironically, AM has a further reach, I can’t pick up the FM station here for some channels, but the AM comes in fine.

I just ask Alexa to play the station. It’s magic.

I agree that Late Night TV is definitely owned by liberals. I don't listen to much AM radio, but I do know that Rush and Herman Cain were too very tough losses for conservatives in the past ~year.
