Ed Zachery.

And the seals keep right on clapping.

On this thread, at least.

On another thread their blood will be boiling because the GOP can't/won't pass the SAVE Act.

And they genuinely don't see the connection between this thread and that thread.

When I think of healthcare the first thing that comes to mind is mutilation and dismemberment.

Everyone in attendance heard it, plus however many watched the clip on the socials.

I guarantee you his graphic line of questioning changed at least one heart.

I'm just as certain that it didn't.

To support abortion you've already made your heart into a stone and decided to ignore reason.

Besides, if that guy wants to "change hearts" on the internet he needs a different job. He needs to be vlogging on his own dime, not wasting mine acting tough about something he has no intention of actually doing anything about, which is his actual job.

Like the poster above pointed out, all this nonsense is is trying to get clicks to rise in the political hierarchy. Remember Trey Gowdy? He's the one that started this nonsense. What did that amount to in his case?

Look, there's nothing wrong with agreeing with the sentiment. But failing to recognize what this is all about is active participation and complicity with what has become a useless branch of government (and of the two factions within that branch, the more useless faction) that now does precious little more than verbally spar with each other on YouTube for public entertainment.

Y'all need to decide which is true. Is the GOP a worthless, do-nothing organization that is all talk, or not? If it is, you need to stop cheering for the talking. Make them actually do something to get your cheers.

I don't really care how people feel about abortion. I care that it is no longer institutionally endorsed. That guy's job is the latter, not the former.

The women who support abortion don’t care about the consequences. They only care about the effect on their lives and don’t consider abortion murder.

I'm not even sure the last part is true.

I think they—on some level—fully realize that they are killing an innocent human being. They just don't care.

You think that women on this video was starting to break down because she was upset at what she was endorsing? I don't. I think she was just upset that she was getting embarrassed.

There's a big difference.

Not necessarily.

There are plenty of people, women, out there who have changed their minds on abortion upon learning more about the reality of it.

I'm one of them. Never had one but used to think it was no big deal and should be "My body, My choice".

Young women, men too, are groomed to think of complex issues in terms of slogans- never digging any deeper.

Brandon Gill certainly needs our attention. He is going places, for sure.

Gill, APL and Tim Burchett.

Probably the only three current politicians that want the government to run as it is intended to run, as opposed to how it's current running. All three have been incredibly outspoken and truthful.

She was obviously uncomfortable. That is strange, why does she support abortion if she obviously doesn't seem to be ok with it???

There's a reason they keep the gruesome details of abortions from the American public. If more people were aware of the reality of how abortions are performed, if they were honestly informed on how developed the overwhelming majority of the babies actually are that they "abort," and if they knewthe overwhelming majority of abortions are not performed due to rape, incest or health problems for the mother or baby... and that the procedure is overwhelmingly as birth control. The support for abortion would be diminished. Greatly.

Did a YouTube video change your mind, or did growing up and having some life experience change your mind? Maybe actually getting pregnant and having the whole thing become real to you?

Anyway, someone who simply has yet to give any serious thought to the issue is not who I'm talking about when I said that.

But none of that changes my overall point. That guy is a member of Congress. The body that he is a member of can pass a law that criminalizes abortion nationwide. I'd rather my tax dollars be spent on having him accomplish that than I would him trying to be Lila Rose.

Because again, if abortion simply becomes illegal then it doesn't matter what someone does or doesn't feel about it. His position supersedes feels.

Just like he doesn't have to spend his time making videos about why the government needs money so as to influence citizens to give freely to the government. He can just pass a tax law and everybody's feelings on the matter become irrelevant.

All of the above, it came in stages... the second to last stage of course being "It's wrong, I'm against it, but don't agree with legislating other's morality".

Thing is, every exposure to truth helps. Again, young people tend to think in easy, catchy slogans that, on the surface, make sense.
